The Viva Dogs Vegas! event was held to celebrate the grand opening of LUSH PUPPY, the first dedicated pet fashion boutique on the Las Vegas Strip. LUSH PUPPY partnered with Mandalay Place boutiques to support The Animal Foundation, Las Vegas’ largest animal shelter.

Spectators “ooh’d” and “ahh’d” as four-legged fashionistas strutted the, um, catwalk decked out in all the latest LUSH PUPPY canine couture. The were joined by many favorite Las Vegas movers and shakers, including Mitch Truswell (host/KNBC News), Kerstin Lindquist (KNBC News), Ivan Kane (Forty Deuce), John Huck (Fox News), Lorraine Blanco (Fox News), Michelle Danks (Lucky Dog Magazine), Luciano & Lily Pelligrino (Valentino/Giorgio) and others modeling Mandalay Place’s newest spring fashions.

Fashion was not the only star that evening, as 10% of the LUSH PUPPY proceeds during the event went to The Animal Foundation; and most importantly, seven amazing pups from the foundation were adopted at the event as well. LUSH PUPPY plans to make this an annual event.
